Imperial Stout aged in barrels with blueberries with maple syrup added. It’s like a cartoon scene: you stroll past an open kitchen window, and the glorious scent carries you to the source—a tower of fluffy blueberry pancakes. We brewed with breakfast inspiration, and we started with an Imperial Stout aged in bourbon barrels for one year. In the final month, we added both whole blueberries (10 pounds/barrel) and blueberry juice concentrate. Then we gave the casks a drizzle of maple syrup right before transferring to conditioning tanks. The flavors merged beautifully, each sip layered with notes of berry, dried fruit, chocolaty malt, and a clean sweetness. Recommended aging time: up to 1 year.
