We took our most heavily fruited sweet mead made with Raspberry, Blackberry and Blueberry with a dark Florida Wildflower honey, and aged in a Corsair Rye Whiskey Barrel (which previously held a stout) for 4 months, the barrel provided a wonderful structure to the mead, giving it a rich and silky feel while adding extra depth to the flavors. -Silver at Mazer Cup International 2019
