Produced for our first Terroir Project, Capt Franc uses Cabernet Franc grapes from Santa Ynez region. This beer/wine hybrid was aged for 12 months in French Oak & used twelve different isolates of atypical yeast. The result is barnyard "funk" & esters with dryness, ripe fruit with gueuze-like qualities. Flavor notes of white pepper, clove, Ceylon tea, cinnamon, pineapple & orange blossom.
