This red-hued amber ale presents with bright aromas of grapefruit and tangerine. The malty body balances the distinct citrus hop flavors, and the beer finishes clean and crisp. Not sweet, not bitter – just right! Bax Mosaic features Mosaic hops and a variety of crystal malts. The recipe for Bax Mosaic was developed by Michael and Jennifer Baxter, local homebrewers who won a medal for the beer in the NoCO Liquid Poets Society’s AHA/BJCP-sanctioned Liquid Poetry Slam Competition. After Linsey scaled the recipe for our 15 bbl system we had a fun day with the Baxters brewing at H&D. We all concur the result is delicious.
