Blue Dot is House of Fermentology’s latest release: A blend of barrels from 2017 & 2018, aged on a second run of raspberries & a first run of macerated blueberries from Isham Family Farm. A dash of lemon verbena was added to the barrels following the fruit, & this beer was finally bottle conditioned w/ VT wildflower honey. One of HoF’s longest bottle conditioned beers, Blue Dot was bottled back in winter of 2019. This Wild Ale is tart, w/ notes of dark stone fruit, black cherries & almond, w/ a hint of leather on the aroma & underlying oak characteristics.⠀ ⠀
