A beautiful blend of a long boil imperial stout, aged in a tawny port barrel for 28 months and a 16 month steel aged long boil barleywine to create an incredibly layered strong ale that is the best parts of barleywine and stout. Some needed heat from the barleywine sets the backbone and layers in dark dessert fruits, caramelized sugars and toffee drizzle, blended with some dark chocolate, fig reduction, vanilla sugar and heavy barrel character to balance the sweetness. No adjuncts needed.
