Пиво Zweite Runde - Sibeeria

Hopfenweizen, 14° Plato, 5.8% ABV. Hopfenweizen jsme ještě nikdy nevařili. Ale když už jsme měli ty hezké německé kvasnice, které nám odkvasily Erste Runde, museli jsme si zkusit, jak fungují, když jim pořádně zachmelíme. Uvařili jsme další jednoduchý weissbier a zasypali ho Novým Zélandem. Pacific Sunrise do whirlpoolu a na studené chmelení dávka Motueky hodná NEIPY. Svým způsobem nám Zweite Runde NEIPU připomíná, ale za všemi těmi vrstvami citrusů je jasně cítit nezaměnitelné aroma hřebíčku s jemným nádechem pšeničné kořenitosti, které známe z bavorských klasik. We’ve never brewed a Hopfenweizen before. Until now - since we had that beautiful German yeast we used for Erste Runde, we needed to see how it mixes with an intense hop charge. We thus brewed another simple Weissbier base, but went full New Zealand on it. Pacific Sunrise in the whirlpool and a NEIPA worth amount of Motueka. In a way, it reminds us of a proto-NEIPA. Hazy, smooth and intensely fruity, but behind all these layers of citrus there is an unmistakable aroma of clove with some of the wheaty spiciness we know from the Bavarian classics.
