Пиво Gin Barrel Saison du Fermier (Blend #1) - Side Project Brewing

For this iteration of Saison du Fermier - our Missouri Spelt Saison - we racked and rested mature Saison du Fermier in Gin Barrels for 6 months. This way we could infuse and extract the Gin botanicals from the oak. The robustness of Saison du Fermier was slightly more impactful than the barrel, so we further enhanced the Gin characters of the beer by finishing the final blend on Pink Peppercorns and Juniper Berries for my favorite Gin Barrel-Aged Side Project beer to date. We have let this beer bottle condition for several months and it is now ready to share with you.
