Oude La Ruche Vintage 2019 was brewed in December of 2019 before resting in French Oak White Burgundy barrels from St. Aubin France with Orange Blossom Honey in January of 2020. As with the previous Oude La Ruche releases, we took a very small portion (only 2 wine barrels) of our Honey Saison - La Ruche - and allowed it to develop and mature for more than a year in 225L French Oak barrels until we bottled it and allowed it to naturally condition in the bottles for an extended period of time. Thanks to the National Honey Board (which is located in St. Louis) we have been afforded the opportunity to taste a lot of exotic and fun honeys over the last couple of years. The beauty of the first Oude La Ruche, with its Orange Blossom Honey, was hard to beat and was the honey of choice once again for this Vintage of Oude La Ruche. Our softest, most delicate Saison, we hope you enjoy this iteration of Oude La Ruche and how well it showcases the Side Project profile backed by the vibrancy of the Orange Blossom Honey!
