With its low bitterness and roasted chocolate-coffee body, the Irish stout is predestined for experimenting with various flavors. If we add lactose – the milk sugar, which cannot be fermented by yeast, a sweet Milk Stout is acquired. Chocolate Stout is created, if we add chocolate or cocoa beans to the mash tun. With the addition of oat flakes, we obtain Oatmeal Stout. Stouts can also mature in barriques, whiskey casks, or raisins can be added. There is maybe one hundred different ingredients and their combinations, by which this beer can be seasoned. Moreover, if we consider there is strength-arranged: a Dry Stout, a strong export Stout, an Imperial Stout and the strongest Russian Imperial Stout, we gain an unimaginable number of possibilities.One just needs to decide, what flavor and what basis he desires.We chose cocoa beans, coconut and vanilla, all soaked in ten liters of rum, which nicely highlights the exotic taste. Thick black color does not differ from that of our regular Stout, but the real sur-prise resides within! After the first sip, a sweet-bitter flavor of authentic chocolate takes over and the coco-nut aroma tenderly dominates the entire experience.
