Beta Bits 2 opens with bold notes of ripe pineapple, candied lemon slices, and juicy Valencia oranges, followed by just a hint of resiny dankness. For this second entry in the Beta Bits rotating hop series, we kept the base beer the same as Beta Bits 1, but started with a brand new hop bill consisting of more than 7 lbs of Mosaic, Amarillo and Lemondrop hops per barrel. The Beta Bits series, inspired by Juicy Bits, our popular New England-style IPA, will serve as our new playground/proving ground for everything hoppy, allowing us to continue our journey of hop exploration by trialing different brewing techniques and testing new and experimental hop varietals and products, with the goal of pushing our hop boundaries even further.
