Пиво Brussels Calling (2019) - Brasserie de la Senne

Brussels Calling is our anniversary beer. We brew it evey year on December 22nd, the day of our first batch with our first Brussels installations: December 22nd, 2010.
The base is always a 6,5% blond beer, but each year we change the hops. This year we are in Slovenia, with a new variety that we literally selected on the field and whose quality was exceptional at the moment of the harvest. The result is a "Belgian IPA", massively dry-hopped but extremely balanced, with room left to fermentation flavours.
It is intensely fruity, with hints of physalis, passion fruit, gooseberries, peach, and green pear. Floral notes of acacia are also present, as well as a delicate minerality. A slight sulphurous note adds to its character. These flavours get longer and more intense in the mouth, and are accompanied by a nice malty base and structured by an intense but elegant bitterness, which underlines its freshness. The final is dry and bitter.
