As you might have guessed, this is a perfect style for our hot summer days, too. Our first IPA reflects our preference for a malt-forward style. We took some influence from the British with their malt-forward IPA, combined it with American Cascade and Citra hops, and The Warrior was born. Dark amber in color compliments the snow-white head. The bouquet is complex: vanilla and coffee from the malt, and pineapple and exotic spices from the hops. The initial sweetness of the malt quickly gives way to the bitterness of Cascade hops but finishes bright and clean thanks to the Citra hops.
