The heart of this beer come from the collaboration brew day with our Half Acre beer friends more than 3 years ago. Once fermented and ready for its time in oak, we racked this beer in Buffalo Trace Mash Bill #2 barrels for 2 years. During the Double Barrel Cognac racking, I had 1 single 7 yr Bourbon barrel in need of filling and this lone barrel was filled with the matured 2 year old Generational. Now 3 years removed from brewing, we are ready to share with you!
