Trenčiansky pivovar Lanius

Пиво American Amber Ale 13° - Trenčiansky pivovar Lanius

Red Ale - American Amber / Red • 4.8% ABV

This beer style originates in 1980's Pacific northwest, during the Craft Beer Revolution. At the time, small craftbreweries notified consumers about unfair brewing practices of big breweries— thinning with water, cheap malt substitutes, hop extracts, foam-stabilizers and the lowering of the costs at the ex-pense of quality. Many historical beerstyles were reborn and fewemerged. The most famous trinity from this eraconsists of IPA, APA and American Amber Ale which still are the flagshipsof American craft brewing. Our Amber Ale is copper-brown with adense beige head. "Simple and elegant", we only used two kinds of malt — paleand crystal — granting the beer its color and a delicate caramel flavor. Single hop — Amarillo — became the spice of this beer, used in five different doses duringthe brewing process. It gives the beer a wonderful orangey aroma with hints of papaya and a soft citrus bitterness. Virgil Gamache Farm in Washingtonstate holds the patent and is the only one allowed to grow this hops. The beeris very similar to APA, it has slightly more caramel, accented body and lower.
