We love both Märzen/Oktoberfest beers and Doppelbocks so much, that we couldn't decide which to brew. So we decided to brew a Doppelbock-style beer in the Märzen tradition. This 8.8% dark lager was brewed with 100% Weyermann Specialty Malts, including Barke Pilsner and Munich I malt for the base, and just a kiss of Caramunich II. Brewed way back in March and has been lagering ever since.
