This batch of Medianoche spent 17 months in freshly emptied Pikesville 6-year straight rye whiskey barrels, which is one of our favorite rye whiskeys in the world. The dark chocolate, coffee, milk chocolate, and caramel notes of the Medianoche base beer are perfectly complemented by the sweet cherry, cinnamon apple, vanilla, and rye spice notes contributed by the Pikesville barrels.
