Don’t ever stop saying smoked varieties are where it’s at. They’re imbued with the spirit of experimentation and a hint of the rebel. To top off on that, we decided to, well, “burn” our lager by brewing helles on Bamberg malts. Smoke from beech kindling comes off its surface, and you can’t mistake the smoky aftertaste, but at the same time it’s kept the lightest and freshest parts of the best traditional ales. Just with a bit of a twist. This one’s for everyone bored of citrus and exotic fruits. No American hops here.
