When Bavarian brewers first brought this style of beer from the town of Einbeck to the city of Munich, urbanites misheard their country accent and thought they were saying "ein Bock"--"a billy goat". The name stuck, and ever since then this refreshing lager has been known as a Bock and represented by a proud goat on the label of many German bottles. Ovemorrow's version of a Bock remains true to these rural German roots, with a rust-red color any Bavarian would enjoy and a hearty, chewy mouthfeel. This medium-bodied lager starts with notes of caramel on the nose, fades into a body of malty sweetness with notes of California raisin and roast coffee, and finishes with just a touch of noble hop flavor on the tip of the tongue.
