Пиво Belgian Saison 13° - Trenčiansky pivovar Lanius

Biere De Saison is a pale ale originated in Valonia in Belgium. It was brewed by the local farmers dur-ing the winter period so they could refresh themselves while working on the fields in the summer. What makes it special is the unique blend of belgian yeast. It ferments at an extremly high temperature up to 32° C and produces a wide range of fruity and spicy tastes (e.g. green apple or clove). This relatively low gravity beer is fer-mented up to 6,8% of alcohol, thus it has a very dry finish with a longlasting but mild bitterness. The most famous one - Saison Dupont -was named "The best beer of the world" by the magazine Men's Journal in the 2005 year.
