We love making you guys happy by constantly releasing new beers, but, man, always coming up with new names that haven’t been used before is a big challenge. Over 80 something beers in, we’ve noticed a few themes pop up: German culture & history, current events, playful absurdity, brewing references, and, especially for our Hazy beers, a lot of space & science. While brainstorming names (over beers of course), our head brewer commented that “we haven’t been using as much space/science as we used to.” And just like that we had a name! Perfectly timed with the release of the first stellar images (pun fully intended) from the James Webb Telescope, we are proud to release more intergalactic badassery, aptly named Space Science. We’ll get to the hops in a minute, but lost in all the beer bro double dry hop chatter is the importance of malt in making a great hazy beer. So for Space Science, we used Maris Otter again to make this one smoother than the silky fabric of spacetime. To go with the smooth mouthfeel, you get a touch of bitterness and an out-of-this-world tropical, coconut and mango aroma from the hop line up of Strata, El Dorado, Citra, & Sabro.
