Wheat beer brewing has had its tradition in Treneln for more than 500 years. In 1546 Ferdinand I. Habsbourg granted the Liberal city of Treneln an exclusive right to brew wheat beer, provided that the ac-quired money would be used for the pu-proses of city walls restoration. Histori-cal sources claim that Treneln wheat beer was famous even all the way in Vienna. It is our honor to be able to continue in this tradition.
